Cloudy morning with some drizzle

Breakfast at Glencruitten

James had arranged for me to go up to Glencritten to have breakfast with them. Ian and Kristy and family were leaving early for the next stage of their journey – a trip to France.

James arrived at 8:00 am to pick me up and off we went.

Here is the front entrance:

... and the door:

After a bit of a chat we went through to the breakfast room and sat down.

After a couple of minutes the breakfast started to arrive – Eliza’s first – pancakes and maple syrup.

Then ours – eggs benedict for me and James - what else - and porridge for Julia. It was all very nice.

After breakfast we went for a short walk in the garden:

 to see the peacocks.

Eliza found a Heilant Coo called Rory!

  1. These are really beautiful pictures. I am wondering if one day you may produce a pictorial book.
    Good wishes Terence
