Monday 7th July - Broomfield Library & Shops

 Monday 7th July

This morning the man came to take out the old fire from the fireplace so we went out into Broomfield to go to the Broomfield Library to find a map of Colorado and the shops.

Our first stop was at the Library - a huge impressive building:

Here is the entrance:

... and right next door was this huge Solar Panel field to power the Library - I think:

We managed to get some maps of the county from there, so went off to Walmart to do mostly grocery shopping:

From there we went back to the Broomfield shops:

... to find the French Bakery "La Belle" and the all essential coffee:

In the afternoon we went for a walk round Stearns Lake just on the edge of Broomfield where there was a Bald Eagle's Nest. To my surprise we ended up driving down a dirt road:

On the left we found the entrance to the Rock Creek Farm Trail and Stearns Lake:

The trail started at the sign so off we went:

We set off along the Trail looking for the Bald Eagle's nesting tree:

At the top on the leftish there is a black spot which was the eagle watching and waiting:

In the evening we went off to the WestBound Pub for a pizza dinner:

Through the entrance:

... and ordered our pizzas:
